Assist the project manager in ensuring that the crew members perform a variety of tasks necessary to meet the grounds maintenance contract.  This includes community sites and site on Naval Base Kitsap. Must have previous supervisory experience. Valid WA driver’s license required and must be eligible for company insurance. Must have irrigation system knowledge. Knowledge of Source America requirements is desirable as is knowledge of timekeeping and payroll. Experience working with persons with disabilities is preferred. There are essential physical requirements and environmental conditions the applicant would be aware of and these as well as a detailed list of duties, is included in the job description which is available through the HR office. This position entails both of the duties, but 85% of the job is providing routine maintenance to company equipment, including diagnosis of possible problems requiring major repairs. You would also spend about 15% of time as a member of the grounds maintenance crew performing such tasks as mowing lawns, trimming and edging, pruning, raking, etc. We work on community sites as well as sites throughout Naval Base Kitsap. Previous experience in grounds maintenance duties and operating heavy machinery is required. Experience in use and repair of equipment used specifically in grounds maintenance is also required. There are essential requirements and physical conditions which are reviewed in the job description. The pay rate will vary depending on the duties being performed and are between $18.23 and $27.30 per hour plus benefits. The closing date on this job is May 29th so come in soon!

We are looking for Temporary Grounds Maintenance Workers on the grounds team. This is seasonal, running during the summer. Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance and/or operating eavy machinery preferred. Must pass agency and federal base access background checks, e-verify and drug testing. Should have WA driver’s license, insurance and clean driving record. Salary is $15,.07 per hour plus $4.41 in additional benefits.

This is a permanent part time position working at the Sub-Base Bangor Commissary. This is for the graveyard shift, usually 10:00pm-5:30a.m. 2-3 days a week. It includes the duties of a janitorial worker but may also include other duties as needed such as shelf stocker and material handler. Must be able to work a part timerotating schedule that will include evenings and some weekends. Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required. at least 2 years of experience as warehouse team member preferred. Must pass the background, e-verify and drug testing as above for base access and badging.. There are specific physical and working conditions listed in the complete position description available from the HR office. Salary is $15.32/hr plus $4.41 in additional benefits.
