The Community Employment Specialist 1  assists individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals. The CES1 provides individualized services for community employment clients which are necessary to help persons with developmental disabilities obtain and continue integrated employment, at or above state minimum wage, in the general workforce. These services may include intake, discovery, assessment, job preparation, marketing, supports, record keeping necessary to maintain a job on a continuing basis, to ensure successful retention and job satisfaction. The CES 1 position requires an Associate Degree in Human Services, Social Science, Business, or related field, or Community Employment Specialist Certification (Highline) or two years’ experience working with persons with disabilities within employment settings or other comparable field. $12.50-$15.50/hr. DOE

The Community Employment Specialist 2 completes all of the duties of a CES 1, but also provides coaching, mentoring to the CES1, serves as a business liaison, maintaining and developing new business partnerships, and serves as the primary point of contact with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and DDA. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s degree in HUman Services, Social Science, Business or related field or Community Employment Specialist Certification (Highline) or three years’ experience working with persons with disabilities within employment settings or other comparable field and have a proven, consistent record of job placements.  $16.50-$19.50 DOE
