Vocational Service Department is hiring immediately for 2 positions.  Both are Full Time and report to the Vocational Services Director. Following are the basic expectations:
1- The Community Employment Specialist 1 (CES1) assists individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals. The CES1 provides customized services for Individual Supported  Employment clients which are necessary to help persons with developmental disabilities to find and continue integrated community employment at or above the state minimum wage. These services may include intake, discovery, assessment, job preparation, job marketing, job supports and record keeping.  This position requires an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Science, Business or a related field, or Community Employment Specialist Certification through Highline.  The qualified applicant should have two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities within an employment setting or another comparable field. 
Salary is Negotiable, ranging from $12.50 to $15.50 per hour DOE

2- The Community Employment Specialist 2 (CES 2) assists individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining community employment that is consistent with their goals. The CES 2 provides coaching and mentoring for the above position (CES1), serves as a business liaison maintaining and developing new business partnerships, and serves as the primary point of contact with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Science, Business or a related field or a Community Employment Specialist Certification from Highline. The qualified applicant should have three years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities within an employment setting or another comparable field, and have a proven, consistent record of job placements.
Salary is Negotiable, ranging from $16.50 to $19.50 per hour DOE
