Job Placement

The community job placement program of Peninsula Services matches trained individuals with specifically identified jobs in the community that are appropriate to both the employer’s needs and to the individual’s abilities.

To the individual participant, this program is important, as a qualified placement specialist will assists him/her in developing an individualized vocational program. These may include career exploration, resume assistance, interview skills, employer contacts, one-on-one job coaching, travel training, vocational counseling, personal finance budgeting and long-term follow along after a job is acquired.

Business Partners receive benefits such as pre-screened employees who are very motivated to work, no cost training for the employee, post-employment follow-along and tax incentives and benefits available as a result of hiring persons with disabilities.

While most of our participants are referred by Local, State and Federal agencies, individuals are encouraged to call our Vocational Rehabilitation Department at (360) 479-6520 for more information on how we can be of service to you. Employers are also strongly urged to give us a call and see how we can help find you qualified, dedicated employees with special abilities.

Peninsula Services is here to help with quality rehabilitation programs that work!
