Since 1971 Peninsula Services has specialized in providing employment training, job placement, life enrichment and long-term support for adults with special needs. Situated in the heart of the Puget Sound in Washington, Peninsula Services realized early on that the majority of vocational opportunities in the area would be in working with Naval installations located along the Sound.

In 1997 the agency took on a new venture, opening Servmart supply stores. Located in Bremerton and on Whidbey Island, these stores serve the needs of the Navy and other government entities with office supplies and many specialized products. With the advent of online purchasing, the virtual Servmart can now reach around the world through its presence on the Department Of Defense E-Mall.
